TNE Hawk Talk
The Hawk Talk podcast is the work of Multimedia Writing and Digital Media Publication students who are part of the Media Studies major/minor at Northeastern State University. We publish content for students, by students. The Northeastern student newspaper serves as the primary news source for NSU’s three campuses. TNE is an independent student-run publication under the media studies program. The media studies program offers two options: multimedia/journalism and public relations/advertising. The Northeastern is written and edited strictly by students at the university. This newspaper is a public forum and final decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief without review from school officials. The newspaper serves as a voice for NSU students and ensures that media studies students will be able to put what they are learning into use outside the classroom. The Northeastern is a student-run publication independent of Northeastern State University.
